To believe that one’s faith cannot be openly practiced is unthinkable. However, for many Pakistani Hindus, the slightest acknowledgement of their Hindu faith can endanger their lives.
“There is fear 24 hours a day…Hindus see themselves as helpless,” Chetan Ram states. Young girls are ripped from the arms of their mothers, married off to strangers, and forcibly converted to Islam; never to see their families again.
Families live in utter poverty. Even if they are employed; they are at the mercy of the jagirdars, or landlords. The Muslim jagirdars pay Hindu workers at their own accord, leaving many of the already impoverished Hindus unpaid.
In order to escape the dire fate they face in Pakistan, many flee to India for safety.
In January of 2013, a team from the Hindu American Foundation, traveled to Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Over five days, the team visited three Pakistani Hindu refugee camps, providing medical aid to over 400 refugees. During their time there, the team listened to one heartbreaking story after another. Amar Lal migrated to India in April 2009 from Bahawalpur after his unmarried sister-in-law was kidnapped and the family never heard from her again. He also noted that he knew of four to five additional Hindu girls that had been kidnapped in Bahawalpur. – HAF’s Victims of History Report 
Despite fleeing from religious persecution, these individuals are still not formally recognized as refugees by the Indian Government or the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Vivek Gumaste | Rediff News |  April 12, 2013 :: The Indian government needs to do more. India’s responsibility towards the Hindus of Pakistan is not a matter of gratis; it is a political and legal obligation, says Vivek Gumaste.
“You are free; you are free to go to your temples, you are free to go to your mosques or to any other place or worship in this State of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion or caste or creed that has nothing to do with the business of the State. We are starting with this fundamental principle that we are all citizens and equal citizens of one State.”
Thus spoke Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the first governor general of Pakistan in his presidential address to the constituent assembly of Pakistan on August 11, 1947. Viewed in isolation, this sanctimonious assertion stands out as a classic exposition of non-partisan secularism.
But when interpreted in the context of the historical genesis and evolution of Pakistan, one cannot but aver that these were shallow inanities; mouthings to assuage the guilty conscience of a man who had succumbed to political avarice to vivisect a nation; or even an act of political knavery designed to confer respectability to a nation conceived in inveterate animus.
Sixty-six years later the nihilism of Jinnah’s statement is supremely evident in the plight of the Hindus. They are not free to go to their temples as they have been willfully destroyed. They are not equal citizens of one state but victims of a religious apartheid. They live in a state of perpetual dread with their daughters, property and religious places being constantly targeted.

Kidnapping and forcibly marrying Hindu girls is a common practice in Pak

On March 30 in Jacobabad, a district capital, Ganga, the daughter of Ashok Kumar was forcibly abducted, converted to Islam and betrothed to a Muslim man much against her wishes and those of her parents. This is not the first time that such a barbaric incident has occurred in Pakistan and will certainly not be the last.
This is a part of a larger calculated strategy of persecution of the Hindus by religious zealots; a campaign that has the tacit support of the authorities and the passive acquiescence of its general population.
According to a report prepared by the Asian Centre for Human Rights: “… kidnapping and then raping and forcibly marrying Hindu girls is a common practice in Pakistan. In the event where the police arrest the accused, they produce a certificate issued by any Muslim seminary that the kidnapped girls have voluntarily adopted Islam and they married the girls.
The courts generally do not consider the fact that the most of the girls are minor and simply accept the certificate of conversion without any investigation. It has been reported that more than 15 families are forcibly converted from Hinduism to Islam in Sindh province every year.”

The oppression continues unabated

The United States Commission on International Religious Freedom in its 2011 Annual Report suggests that this practice is much more prevalent indicating that approximately 20 to 25 young Hindu women are abducted and forcibly converted every month; the victims’ families often fail to file a police report fearing violent retaliation.
Next in line in this vicious witch hunt are Hindu temples that are routinely destroyed, neglected, usurped or turned into commercial properties: Below are excerpts from a Hindu American Foundation of the USA report:   
  • In Dera Ismail Khan (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province), a Muslim group illegally acquired the 700-year-old Kali Bari Mandir and converted it into a hotel.
  • The Raam Kunday Mandir in Islamabad is being converted into a picnic area.   
  • Eminabad in Gujranwala region has several temples dating back to the 15th century.Most of them are now being used as stables to provide shelter to donkeys, horses, and other animals.    
  • A famous Hanuman temple in Chakwal (Punjab province) is being used by the workers of salt mines
    as their office.  
  • Akali temple in Peshawar (Khyber Pakthunkwa) has been taken over by local traders, who are converting
    it into a building.   
  • Jogi Tala Jhelum (Punjab), a sacred site for Hindus as well as Sikhs, is also in horrible condition.
This oppression continues unabated as the Hindu community so far has had no champions: a fallout from the Hindu theology of self-negation that inculcates an intrinsic inhibition to stand up for one’s own rights.

Muslims have flourished in India notwithstanding the unsubstantiated gripe

Fortunately this is changing. However, the most strident opposition to the persecution of Hindus does not come from the one billion Hindus of India, its government or its free press. In fact at the forefront of this battle is a fledgling organisation, the HAF.
The HAF is the brainchild of Hindu-Americans and has been in existence since 2003. In this short tenure, it has done yeoman service to the Hindu cause consistently highlighting the plight of Hindu minorities all over the world but particularly Pakistan.
Kudos to the organisation.
On April 8, 1950, Pakistan’s PM Liaquat Ali Khan and India’s PM Jawaharlal Nehru signed a bilateral pact that ensured equal rights for minorities in their respective countries. India has kept its side of the bargain.
Muslims have flourished in India notwithstanding the unsubstantiated gripe that we constantly hear: the Muslim population has increased from 10 per cent in 1947 to at least 13.4 per cent (2001 census. Figures from 2011 census not available yet); Muslims are found in every walk of life: the Shah Rukh Khans dominate the entertainment industry and we have had three Muslim Presidents.
The Indian government needs to do more. India’s responsibility towards the Hindus of Pakistan is not a matter of gratis; it is a political and legal obligation that stems from the Nehru-Liaquat Ali Khan treaty. More importantly India owes a moral duty to those Hindus, Sikhs and Christians whom we abandoned to the vagaries of a theocratic state in 1947. [Courtesy: Rediff News].

Rajat Pandit | TNN | Jan 15, 2013 | New Delhi :: India on Monday demonstrated its renewed resolve to fight fire with fire along the volatile Line of Control, directing all its battalion commanders on the fiercely-contested boundary to retaliate with all their might if the Pakistani Army provokes them by violating the ceasefire or pushing militants into J&K.
“I expect all my commanders on the LoC to be aggressive and offensive in face of provocation and fire…No passivity is expected from them. Their response has to be measured and for effect,” said a tough-talking General Bikram Singh, a day ahead of Army Day celebrations.
The fact that the Army chief issued an unequivocal warning to Pakistan to cease and desist from misadventures along the border is a confirmation there is going to be no immediate de-escalation of tension, especially as a defiant Pakistan refused to own up to the beheading of an Indian soldier and mutilation of another’s body by its elite SSG commandos on January 8.
Speaking around the same time that Pakistan brushed aside India’s charges at the brigadier-level flag meeting at the Chakkan-Da-Bagh crossing point in Poonch district, Gen Singh accused Islamabad of resorting to “outright lies”.
Pakistani Army’s cross-border raid on January 8 was a “premeditated and pre-planned” operation that would have needed at least 10 days of preparation and reconnaissance, he said. The Indian jawan’s beheading was a “gruesome, most unpardonable act” that went against the “basic ethics” of soldering and tenets of the Geneva Convention, he added. >>Read details in TOI.

Indian Army Chief warns Pakistan, says will choose the time and place to retaliate.

New Delhi | Jan 15, 2013 :: Indian Army Chief General Bikram Singh hit out strongly at Pakistan over the killing of two Indian soldiers and continuous ceasefire violation. He warned Pakistan that the Indian Army will retaliate to Pakistan’s attack. “I have given very categorical directions to the Northern Command. When we are provoked we shall respond immediately. I expect my commanders to be aggressive in the face of firing. We will retaliate to Pakistan’s attack at a place and time of our choosing,” General Bikram Singh said.
Talking tough against Pakistan, General Bikram Singh rejected Pakistan’s claims of an Indian operation at the Line of Control killing one soldier. “No operation was carried out by the Indian Army on January 6 as claimed by Pakistan,” General Bikram Singh said.
He called the killing of two Indian soldiers by Pakistan ‘gruesome’ and ‘unpardonable’ and said beheading the soldier was unacceptable. “This incident has had strategic nuances, beheading our soldiers is not acceptable. The act was against ethics and principles of rules of engagement,” General Singh said. He added that India will register a strong protest at the flag meet of the two countries.
General Bikram Singh also said that Pakistan Army’s attack in Mendhar was pre-planned.
The long awaited flag meeting between Indian and Pakistani commanders in the Poonch sector will take place on Monday afternoon. India had requested for the Brigadier-level flag meet in an attempt to ease the tension at the India-Pakistan border. >>Read details in IBN Live.

If Pakistan changes its proxy war against Hindusthan in a real one, Mrs. Antonia Sonia Maino may be seen in that mysterious role through which spirit of Lady Mountbatten spoiled Nehru as a meek before the retreating Pakistan Force in 1965, completely disgracing our unbeatable Indian Army, then advanced upto Barkee post around Lahore. This is the real situation to be repeated in case of our two veteran and highly learned President and Prime Minister of India. Hence, today’s flag meeting at at Poonch between the commanders of India and Pakistan regarding repeated cease fire violation and the brutal decapitation of two Indian Jawans by Pakistani beasts, will give us no fruit at all. The Grief tormented Rajputana Rifles Jawans will take food one day after their protest phase of five day long starvation or the families of Lance Naik Hemraj or Lance Naik Sudhakar Singh shall return to their normal life after ending their sitting protest on fasting. But what will happen to the pro active Pak elements engaged to destroy the entity and integrity of India? Or what should be our treatment towards the Hurriyat or MIM elements who are discharging their subversive and seditious role of Fifth Column to destroy India from within?
It is heard that in a bid to de-escalate tension along the Line of Control (LoC), India and Pakistan will hold a brigade commander-level flag meeting in Poonch sector on Monday (14-01-2013) during which the recent intrusions and the brutal killing of two jawans by Pakistani soldiers will figure.
“Brigade Commanders’ flag meeting is being held tomorrow at Chakan-Da-Bagh LoC point in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir at noon,” public relation officer (PRO), defence, Col R K Palta said.
Pakistan agreed to hold the flag meeting in a communication through a hotline in the sector, he said, adding, “We had sought the flag meeting of the brigade commanders of the two sides.”
The Indian Army had sent a hotline message to the Pakistan Army on January 11 and asked for a flag meeting to discuss the issue of brutal killing of two jawans by Pakistani troops, reportedly belonging to 29 Baloch Regiment, and increasing incidents of firing and ceasefire violations in the Poonch sector.
But, this type flag meeting is not an exception but may be considered as routine one. A Brigade Commanders’ meeting was held at Chakan-Da-Bagh LoC point on June 23 following the killing of two Indian soldiers and injuries to four other jawans in ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops, besides closure of the cross- LoC trade and travel via Chakan-Da-Bagh.
The two jawans were killed and the four others were injured in the firing by Pakistan troops between June 11 to June 16 in the Poonch sector. But, they were not the relatives of any higher officials or bureaucrats. Then those were considered as trifling loss or casualties.
Records say that if there were 61 such violations in 2011, as many as 120 have been recorded in the last one year. Reports tells us 7 times cease fire-violation by Pakistan within last 48 hours and we are going to talk with some blood thirsty cannibals, chanting well the norms of Geneva conventions and etc.
Who doesn’t know that Pakistan is our enemy. Those who locked heads are speaking about ‘Aman Ki Tamsha’, Pak-India Cricket-Hockey series or cultural exchange and others are nothing but the traitors of the Nation.
Indian Home Minister Mr. Sushilkumar Shinde is saying that Pakistan is helping terrorists to enter our territory. The Indian Defense Minister Mr. A K Antony is saying that ceasefire violations in Jammu and Kashmir are a cause of serious concern. But the assault upon the Indian Soldiers are coming as a routine phenomenon. Brave-heart soldiers are not permitted to be proactive in the front-line for the lack  political courage of corrupted Indian politicians. And though these nefarious nods, the Fifth Column in Indian soil are sprouting unbelievably without any check and balance.
It is told that the 26/11 Master Mind Hafiz Sayeed were visiting the Terrorist Training Camps in POK and stationed near Mendhar  border of Poonch Sector at the time of brutal killing of two Rajputana Rifles Jawans by Balooch Regiment of Pakistan Army. Concrete evidences have been surfaced that separatist Hurriyat Leaders of J&K are conducting strategic meeting with the Army and ISI officials of Pakistan to continue Jihad warfare in India. But, Pakistan is denying all these and we are waiting for another series of intrusion or further pack of mutilated body of Indian soldiers or civilians with clotted blood and without heads or limbs.
Aggressive Offence is the only answer in this situation for making a meaningful defense. Yes, this is the time to issue a clear declaration of revenge. This is the time to crush down the most dangerous Fifth Columnists like Yaseen Malik, Geelani or Akbaruddin. And this can be materialized only upon a strong resolution  and steel body and mind. Oh, my brave-heart soldiers of  Rajputana Rifles and the glorified relatives of National Heroes like Veer Sudhakar or Veer Hemraj, wipe out the tears each others, take food again but must take the vow to finish all the Fifth Column perpetrators and spies from our soil, who are endangering our safety and security in every foot step.
The cross border enemies and their Army are fortifying  the Fifth Column in India and their terrorist fronts by all possible menace of arms, finance, logistics and strategies to carry on a fanatic Jihad in India. Then, when our Army can’t drive in a Dhrama Yudh to save the prestige and  mighty presence of Bharat Mata at present and future.
Unless we complete the cleansing the Fifth Column from Bharat (India), they will push us in the mouth of the sharks and help our enemies in many ways.  Enough is enough. Finish the Fifth Columns right now.

The “border action team” of the Pakistani Army took advantage of the thick fog in the thickly-forested mountainous region to sneak 500 to 600 metres across the Line of Control (loC) before they were driven back after a fierce gun-battle and even close-quarter combat with Indian troops that went on for over 30 minutes shortly before noon on Tuesday.

The incursion and ceasefire violation seemed to be a diversionary manoeuvre to push infiltrators into J&K, as has been the earlier practice of Pakistani Army. However, it met with adequate fire-power from the Indian troops who, tipped off by the Intelligence Bureau, were fully alert to thwart any nefarious design.

After the gun battle, the bodies of Lance-Naiks Hemraj and Sudhakar Singh, part of an “area domination patrol” of the 13 Rajputana Rifles, were found. One of them was badly “mutilated”. Although the Army did not give more details of the barbarism, sources said the retreating Pakistani soldiers had chopped off the “head” of one of the Indian soldiers and taken it back with them.

An outraged Indian Army dubbed the crime “yet another grave provocation” by the Pakistan Army, and said that it would be “taken up sternly through official channels”. Given the gravity of the situation, PM Manmohan Singh, who was in Kochi in the afternoon, was briefed over the phone.

“We condemn the provocative action. The government will take up the incident with the Pakistan government. We expect Islamabad to honour the ceasefire agreement (which came into force in November 2003) strictly,” said the defence ministry.
Predictably, the Pakistan military denied its troops had crossed over into India or indulged in a ceasefire violation on Tuesday. “It looks like Indian propaganda to divert world attention from the raid conducted by Indian troops on one of our posts on Sunday, in which one of our soldiers was killed,” it said.

But the decapitation of the Indian soldier on Tuesday evoked memories of the barbaric way in which during the 1999 Kargil conflict Captain Saurabh Kalia was tortured by his Pakistani captors who later handed over his badly mutilated body to India. Kalia’s father is still fighting to get Pakistan to punish the soldiers who were responsible for his son’s brutal torture.

The defeat in Kargil did not chasten the Pakistani security establishment into mending its ways and stop violating the Geneva Convention which lays down how captured soldiers should be treated. In February, 2000, infamous Pakistani terrorist and al-Qaida member Ilyas Kashmirihad led a raid on the Indian Army’s “Ashok Listening Post” in the Nowshera sector to kill seven Indian soldiers.
Even then, Kashmiri had taken back to Pakistan the head of a 24-year-old Indian jawan, Bhausaheb Maruti Talekar of the 17 Maratha Light Infantry, as a trophy to brandish. He is believed to have been honoured by General Pervez Musharraf himself at a ceremony later.
On Tuesday, the defence ministry said the director-general of military operations (DGMO), Lt-General Vinod Bhatia, had already taken up the issue “directly” with his Pakistani counterpart. With the PM landing back in New Delhi later on Tuesday, the ministry of external affairs is likely to summon a top Pakistani official on Wednesday to lodge a strong protest over the matter.
Sources said Army chief General Bikram Singh also briefed national security advisor Shivshankar Menon on the “significant escalation” in ceasefire violations by the Pakistan Army in recent days. “Pakistan Army is regularly giving covering fire to help terrorists infiltrate into J&K, especially in the Rajouri, Uri and Keran sectors. If there were 61 such violations in 2011, as many as 120 have been recorded in the last one year,” said an official.
India has already denied Pakistan’s earlier allegation on Sunday, holding that it was actually Pakistani soldiers who opened “unprovoked heavy machinegun and mortar fire on Indian post in the Uri sector”. Indian troops had just responded to it “in a calibrated manner”. The external affairs ministry also asked Pakistan to ensure that the “sanctity of the LoC is maintained”.

WISCONSIN, US |  Monday, August 6, 2012 – A shooting during Sunday services at a Sikh temple yesterday left at least seven people dead, including a gunman, and at least three critically wounded. Police said they believed only one gunman was involved.
A white man with a 9/11 tattoo, that’s how the coldblooded killer who shot dead six persons at a Gurudwara in the Milwaukee suburb of Oak Creek, Wisconsin was described by eyewitnesses. 
The 40-year-old man is said to be a resident of the same neighbourhood, entered the Gurdwara from the kitchen side with a gun, when food was being prepared for Sunday community lunch, and started firing indiscriminately. By the time the police arrived and engaged him in a gun fight, he had shot dead 6 persons and injured at least 10. 
The senseless killer was shot dead by the police. 
The mass killing began when a gunman or gunmen walked into the kitchen of the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin about 10.30am local time and started shooting, according to congregation members in touch with people inside the building. “It was a very co-ordinated thing. It wasn’t haphazard,” temple member Amardeep Kaleka told CNN.
He said his father was wounded in the attack at the temple in a suburb south of Milwaukee.
Greenfield police chief Bradley Wentlandt said four people were killed inside the temple.
Three were shot dead outside, including a gunman killed by a police officer.
He declined to say whether there was more than one shooter, but hours after the attack heavily armed officers were still searching the sprawling temple complex for other suspects.
Milwaukee’s Froedtert Hospital said three men had been brought in wounded and were in critical condition. One was in the operating room, the hospital said in a statement.
The 20-year veteran officer who exchanged fire with the gunman was hit several times, Mr Wentlandt said. He was taken to hospital and is expected to survive.
Witnesses said hostages were being held inside the temple but police did not confirm this.
US president Barack Obama, alerted of the shooting at the Camp David presidential retreat in Maryland, said he was “deeply saddened” by the attack, according to a White House statement.
He said his administration would give whatever aid was needed to respond to and investigate it.
The Indian embassy in Washington said it was in contact with the White House’s national security council about the shooting and an Indian diplomat had been sent to the Sikh temple in Wisconsin.
The mass killing in Oak Creek is yet another in a recent rampage by gunmen in suburban America.

In July, 12 people were killed and 58 wounded when a shooter opened fire at a screening of the latest Batman film in the Denver suburb of Aurora, Colorado. In January 2011, then-congresswomen Gabrielle Giffords was the target of an assassination attempt in which six people were killed and 13 were wounded.
“The gunman is worse than the one at the theater a couple of weeks ago because he targeted an entire community,” said temple member Jagatjit Sidhu.
He was among dozens of temple members and onlookers who gathered in a car park near the temple after police sealed the building off.
The Sikh faith includes belief in only one God and that the goal of life is to lead an exemplary existence. It is the fifth-largest organised religion in the world with more than 30 million followers.
The temple in Oak Creek was founded in October 1997 and has a congregation of 350 to 400 people. There are an estimated 500,000 or more Sikhs in the US.
In the US, especially since the attacks of September 11th, 2001, Sikhs have sometimes been confused publicly with Muslims because of their turban headdress and beards. In September 2001, a Sikh petrol station owner in Arizona was shot dead by a man who was said to be seeking revenge on Muslims for the attacks on the US.

HE Special Correspondent from Lahore | 29th June, 2012 :: This question is haunting many of the Indians today when it is well known that an big numbers of Hindu and Sikh prisoners are being converted into Islam and the Pak authorities deliberately serve beef to all prisoners not considering the religious bars of anyone. Reports are in the air that Sarabjit Singh, the most highlighted  convict in Pak Jail had  been converted to Islam  and was now known as Sarfaraz  and another Indian prisoner on death row in Pakistan, Kirpal Singh, had also been converted to Islam and had given a new name Mohammed Din.
Surjeet Singh who was freed recently by Pakistan and who was fellow of Sarabjit Singh in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Jail  claimed that Sarabjit had  been converted to Islam  and was now known as Sarfaraz.
Speaking to mediapersons at the information centre of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee after paying obeisance at Golden Temple, Surjeet said: “Sarabjit Singh andKirpal Singh have converted to Islam. They probably did so in hope of getting mercy. But no mercy was granted to them. Pakistan authorities do not grant mercy to even their own nationals.”
When contacted, Sarabjit’s sister Dalbir Kaur denied that Sarabjit had converted to Islam. “This is not true at all. Sarabjit was a Gursikh, is a Gursikh and will remain a Gursikh. He has kept photos of Sikh gurus in jail and a Sikh religious book. He regularly recites from that book,” she said.
Dalbir added that during her visit to Pakistani jail to meet Sarabjit, she did heard people calling Kirpal Singh by a Muslim name. “But this is not the case with Sarabjit. Had he converted, he would have some Muslim name,” she said. “When I went to meet him in Pakistan, he was either addressed as Sarabjit or Manjit.”
When informed that Surjeet had claimed that Sarabjit had changed his name to “Sarfaraz” after “converting to Islam”, Dalbir insisted: “No way, Sarabjit remains Sarabjit and a Sikh and has not changed his name or converted to Islam.”
Dalbir also took exception to Surjeet’s statement that Sarabjit was hale and hearty in jail. “How can a person lodged in solitary confinement be happy? If this was the case, why will prisoners seek release?” she asked.
Meanwhile, Surjeet claimed that if things fell in place, he would ensure that Sarabjit was back home in three months. “Seven to eight MLAs of Pakistan are my very good friends. Even Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari is my good friend. I have had breakfast with Zardari. And I will ensure Sarabjit’s release,” Surjeet said, alleging that the Pakistani media and the ISI were against Sarabjit’s release.
“It has to be done at the presidential level. If ISI comes to know about any effort for Sarabjit’s release, the agency will never allow it to happen,” he added. Saying that his and Sarabjit’s cases were entirely different, Surjeet added: “The case of Sarabjit, who faces charges of terrorism, is entirely different from mine. Neither India nor Pakistan would like to release terrorists.”
As per report, Hindu and Sikh prisoners are considered as the slaves of the Muslim Prisoners in Pak Jails with an exception of some political and classified prisoners of bilateral relation with the other states.
When the ISI linked terrorists of Pakistan or Pak affiliations  like Kasab, Afjal or Hamjas are getting a special status in Indian jails and Indian Govt is spending crores of rupees for the facilities and amenities in highest grade, Indian nationals put into Pak jails for many causes or upon some fishy suspicion are facing a vicious Islamic torture there. GOI has any botheration to that?

‘Hindu girls being forcibly kept in Sindh madrassas’

ISLAMABAD: Hindu girls are being forcibly kept in various madrassas in Sindh and are later forced to marry Muslims, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MNA Dr Azra Fazl told the National Assembly on Thursday. She was speaking on issue of Faryal Shah (Rinkle Kumari) who was allegedly abducted and forced to marry and convert to Islam earlier this month in Sindh.
While speaking on the point of order, Fazl said that Hindus are facing a lot of challenges in Sindh. She stressed the need for legislation to protect minority rights and to end forced conversions.
Fazl, who is also the sister of President Asif Ali Zardari, highlighted the issue in the parliament at a time when her brother received a sharply-worded letter from California Congressman Brad Sherman urging him to take action to ensure the return of Faryal to her family, pursuant to reports that she had been abducted with the help of a PPP lawmaker.
Nafeesa Shah, another MNA from Sindh also endorsed her colleague’s idea and said that the parliament should introduce legislation on “forced conversions”.  Various non-Muslims were being forced to accept Islam as being reported by the media, she observed.
“Protection of the minorities should be ensured as enshrined in the Constitution,” Shah added.
Majority of lawmakers including Lal Chand and Mehish Kumar representing minorities in the parliament expressed concerns over the kidnapping and forced conversions of Hindu girls. They said it was the right of every person to accept any religion but nobody can be forced in this regard.
MNA Justice (retd) Fakhar-un-Nisa stressed on the implementation of laws when it comes to solve the issue of minorities. “Minorities’ rights should be protected at all cost.”

Giving a policy statement on floor of the House, Minister of State for Interfaith Harmony and Minorities Affairs Akram Masih Gill said that the present government has taken unprecedented steps for the uplift and empowerment of minorities. “Parliament should enact a law to avoid forced conversions,” he remarked.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Shehnaz Wazir Ali said that under the 18th Amendment, four seats have been reserved for minorities in the Upper House.

 LAHORE: As many as 74 per cent of minority women living in Pakistan faced sexual harassment during 2010 and 2011, respectively, while 43 per cent complained about facing religious discrimination at workplaces, educational institutions and neighborhoods.
“Moreover, 27 per cent minority women (Christian and Hindu) faced discrimination in admissions to educational institutions and were forced to take Islamic studies for absence of any alternative subject,” National Commission for Justice and Peace (NCJP) Executive Director Peter Jacob disclosed this while launching a study titled ‘Life on the Margins’ conducted by the commission with rights activists, media and people from various walks of life at a local hotel on Wednesday.
The research, which was based on interviews of minority women, was led by Jennifer Jag Jivan and Mr Jacob while it was assessed by three prominent minority women, MNA Asiya Nasir, Ernestine C. Pinto and Pushpa Kumari, with the coordination of Sobia John.
Giving a briefing, Mr Jacob said the study looked into social, political and economic conditions of the minority women with the help of a baseline survey conducted in 26 districts of Punjab and Sindh, the two provinces where 95 per cent of minorities in the country lived.
“As many as 1,000 Hindu and Christian women were interviewed – the two communities forming 92 per cent of the entire minority population in Pakistan,” he added.
He said the study reviewed the literature available on minority women. Issues such as legal disparity, review of personal laws concerning minorities, religious and gender biases, forced conversions, lack of policy focus and segregated data were part of this study that affected everyday life of the minority women, he said. Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Dr Araish Kumar added to the conversation by saying that the minorities were being forced to read Islamic studies in Pakistan.
“Our students are being forced to read subject Islamiat in the government schools,” Kumar said adding, “If they refuse to study Islamic studies, they are struck off by the school administration.”

KARACHI, 27 February 2012 (IRIN - Integrated Regional Information Networks) – Sixteen-year-old Ameena Ahmed*, now living in the town of Rahim Yar Khan in Pakistan’s Punjab Province, does not always respond when her mother-in-law calls out to her.
“Even after a year of `marriage’ I am not used to my new name. I was called Radha before,” she told IRIN on a rare occasion when she was allowed to go to the corner shop on her own to buy vegetables.

Ameena, or Radha as she still calls herself, was abducted from Karachi about 13 months ago by a group of young men who offered her ice-cream and a ride in their car. Before she knew what was happening, she was dragged into a larger van, and driven to an area she did not know.
She was then pressured into signing forms which she later found meant she was married to Ahmed Salim, 25; she was converted to a Muslim after being asked to recite some verses in front of a cleric. She was obliged to wear a veil. Seven months ago, Ameena, who has not seen her parents or three siblings since then and “misses them a lot”, moved with her new family to southern Punjab.
“The abduction and kidnapping of Hindu girls is becoming more and more common,” Amarnath Motumal, a lawyer and leader of Karachi’s Hindu community, told IRIN. “This trend has been growing over the past four or five years, and it is getting worse day by day.”
He said there were at least 15-20 forced abductions and conversions of young girls from Karachi each month, mainly from the multi-ethnic Lyari area. The fact that more and more people were moving to Karachi from the interior of Sindh Province added to the dangers, as there were now more Hindus in Karachi, he said.
“They come to search for better schooling, for work and to escape growing extremism,” said Motumal who believes Muslim religious schools are involved in the conversion business.
“Hindus are non-believers. They believe in many gods, not one, and are heretics. So they should be converted,” said Abdul Mannan, 20, a Muslim student. He said he would be willing to marry a Hindu girl, if asked to by his teachers, “because conversions brought big rewards from Allah [God]. But later I will marry a `real’ Muslim girl as my second wife,” he said.
According to local law, a Muslim man can take more than one wife, but rights activists argue that the law infringes the rights of women and needs to be altered.
Motumal says Hindu organizations are concerned only with the “forced conversion” of girls under 18. “Adult women are of course free to choose,” he said.
“Lured away”
Sunil Sushmt, 40, who lives in a village close to the city of Mirpurkhas in central Sindh Province, said his 14-year-old daughter was “lured away” by an older neighbour and, her parents believe, forcibly converted after marriage to a Muslim. “She was a child. What choice did she have?” her father asked. He said her mother still cries for her “almost daily” a year after the event.
Sushmat is also concerned about how his daughter is being treated. “We know many converts are treated like slaves, not wives,” he said.
According to official figures, Hindus based mainly in Sindh make up 2 percent of Pakistan’s total population of 165 million. “We believe this figure could be higher,” Motumal said.
According to media reports, a growing number of Hindus have been fleeing Pakistan, mainly for neighbouring India. The kidnapping of girls and other forms of persecution is a factor in this, according to those who have decided not to stay in the country any longer.
“My family has lived in Sindh for generations,” Parvati Devi, 70, told IRIN. “But now I worry for the future of my granddaughters and their children. Maybe we too should leave,” she said. “The entire family is seriously considering this.”

The Joint Forum of Kashmiri Pandit organizations on held a massive protest demonstration today on the occasion of 22nd Holocaust Day outside the Raj Bhawan, Jammu The demonstrators carried placards and raised slogans remindful of ethnic cleansing and mass exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in 1990.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Thursday tweeted saying today marks another year of an incomplete Kashmir and expressed need to redouble efforts to facilitate the return of Kashmiri pandits to their rightful homes.
The speakers expressed, “Kashmiri Pandits have a rightful and natural claim on the territory of Kashmir and their Resettlement in Kashmir is a genuine political issue. This issue can be addressed only by meeting out the geo-political aspirations of the seven lakh displaced Kashmiri Pandits in the light of the demand of homeland in Kashmir.”
The issue of encroachments of temples and shrines in Kashmir was also raised and termed as very serious issue and the government was reminded to take cognizance of the same.

The activists also raised slogans against terrorism and apathetic attitude of the government against the displaced community.
All prominent leaders of the Kashmir Pandit organizations participated in the programme. They included Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, President, Panun Kashmir, H.L.Chatta, General Secretary, ASKPC, D.N.Kissu, Chairman, NCMCC, R.K.Raina, Senior Vice President, ASKPC, Virender Raina, Sunil Dimple leader of Jammu West Assembly Movement.

I think, most of the Indians don’t know they have a holocaust day to celebrate. For those who don’t know, January 19 is the holocaust day of Indians.
23 years back, it was on that day your brothers, lakhs of Kashmiri Pandits were evacuated from their home land, Kashmir Valley, by the Pakistan sponsored terrorists.
Now, Kashmiri Pandits have completed the 23rd year of their forced exile. The story of Kashmiri Pandits, an ethnic group who have become refuges in their own land, is not-only one of the tear-jerking ones in independent India but also a mistreated one by the so-called secular government of the country.
We have heard about human rights violations confronted the Jews from Adolf Hitler, human rights violations in Palestine, human rights violations by the Lord Resistance Army of Uganda, violations in many countries such as Sri Lanka, Iran, Brazil, China…
When a communal riot broke out in Gujarat (India) in 2002 as an upshot of the killing of 59 Hindu Saints in Sabarmati Express (Godhra train carnage), then all human rights organizations across the globe made use of this incident to affront India in front of the world.
But they never speak on the genocide, the ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir valley; they have a culpable silence on the human rights violations executing by the terrorists tutored by Pakistan.
After the end of 1989, over four lakh Kashmiri Pandits, living in Muslim best part area of the Kashmir, were ungenerously hollowed out of the valley by the Islamic terrorists.
They have been forced to live the life of exiles in their own country, outside their homeland, by unleashing an organized campaign of terror, murder, loot and arson.
Genocide of Kashmiri Pandits has reached at its zenith with Pak terrorism succeeding in cleansing the valley of this ancient ethno-religious Kashmiri Pandits community.
With the completion of 23rd year of their forced exile, this peace loving, culturally affluent community with a history of more than 5000 years is fighting a harsh battle to save itself from becoming extinct as a distinct race and culture in the midst of pseudo-secular politicians.

Hindu Existence News Bureau , New Delhi || 30 December, 2011- Pakistan secret agency, Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) has revised its planning to reconvert India as an Islamic Country by joining it with Pakistan under a GREATER ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN within 2030.  Earlier they have fixed this target within 2020. This one can be somewhat funny to the reluctant and ignorant people of India under a political influence of absurd Indo-Pak friendship. But, Pakistan apparently has come with some new plans to destabilize India by influencing some developments in the north, west and southern parts of the country, as part of its multi-pronged strategy. Terrorists who were caught by Indian Security Force in Kashmir revealed this information. ISI (Pakistan’s intelligence agency) is the main culprit behind.
The map targets North India, and shows the region as a shadow of ‘Islamic Republic of Pakistan’ by 2020. It also projects South India as disputed territory and treats the Indian neighbors China (China has the responsibility of doing everything for Pakistan), Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka as their neighbouring countries. They also considered Andaman and Nicobar Islands of India as Islands of Bangladesh The map also indicates their desire of changing Mumbai’s topography, turning the South Asia’s economic capital Mumbai (Bombay) into ‘Muslimabad’ by 2012.

An article in the Power Politics magazine says that the ISI has passed two maps to the Pakistan Army to increase the moral of the troops by giving them a target to break and merge India in Pakistan forming Islamic Republic of Pakistan by2020. This will somehow increase the confidence of the public of Pakistan also who always dream of troubled India.
The terrorists are using alternative routes to India. From Pakistan they go to Dubai, Bangkok, Nepal and Bangladesh to enter India. The write up further says that ISI has been attempting to cover India both from sea and land routes just like the Chinese strings of pearl theory. ISI is already pushing fake Indian currency in to the Indian market thus creating a hole in the Indian economy.
Pakistan is time to time searching for chances and making excuses in front of the world to bring its force back to the Indian borders, currently under the pressure from U.S, they are fighting with insurgency near Afghanistan-Pakistan border.

QUETTA, 23rd December, 2011 : Members of the Hindu community staged a protest demonstration in front of the Balochistan Assembly (BA) on Friday against increasing incidents of kidnapping for ransom in the province.
The protestors took out a procession from Arya Samaj temple on Masjid Road and after marching through different parts of the city, staged a protest demonstration in front of the BA building.
The protesting people, including children, were carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans demanding protection from criminals.
Addressing the protestors, Raday Sham and Dr Maher Chand, members of Hindu Panchayat, said police should investigate the killing of young Hindu trader Ravi Kumar, whose bullet-riddled body was found in Quetta after his family failed to pay the ransom money to his abductors.
The members of the Hindu community raised slogans against the government for its failure to protect the life of those belonging to minority communities.
Provincial minister for minorities Basant Lal Gulshan and Minister for Revenue Zamurkh Khan Achakzai addressed the protesting Hindu community members and tried to pacify them.
Achakzai said that the law enforcing agencies were constantly striving against the kidnapping gangs operating in Quetta and other parts of the province.
“Police have booked many suspects and also carrying out raids in different localities including Saryab and Pashtunabad areas of Quetta. Soon, the criminals will be brought to book,” he ensured.
The protestors called off their protest after the provincial minster assured them that he will arrange a meeting between a delegation of Hindu community and Chief Minister, to resolve the issues.

NEW DELHI: Parliamentarians across the political spectrum on Monday asked the government to ensure that the religious rights of Hindus in Russia are protected after a member pointed out an IANS report about the Bhagvad Gita facing a ban and the prospect of it being branded as “extremist” literature there.
Angry MPs forced the adjournment of the Lok Sabha till 2pm after Biju Janata Dal leader Bhartruhari Mahtab raised the issue in the house and asked the government to intervene immediately to ensure the religious freedom of Hindus in Russia.
He said a court in Siberia’s Tomsk city was set to deliver its final verdict on Monday in a case filed by state prosecutors, as was reported by IANS on Saturday when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was on an official visit to Moscow.
“I want to know from the government what it is doing. The religious rights of Hindus in Russia should be protected. The government should impress upon the Russian authorities through diplomatic channels,” he said.
The case, which has been going on in the Tomsk court since June, seeks a ban on a Russian translation of the “Bhagavad Gita As It Is” written by A C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).
It also wants the Hindu religious text banned in Russia, declared as literature spreading “social discord”, and its distribution on Russian soil rendered illegal.
Indians in Moscow, numbering about 15,000, and followers of the ISKCON religious movement in Russia have appealed to the Indian government to intervene diplomatically to resolve the issue in favour of the scripture, an important part of Indian epic Mahabharata written by sage Ved Vyas.
When Mahtab raised the issue, the lower house plunged into chaos, with MPs urging Speaker Meira Kumar to let them speak on the matter. She, however, refused and instead asked them to send notes and associate with Mahtab.
Lalu Prasad of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RLD) was heard shouting that the Hindu scripture does not preach extremism.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members were also seen rising from their seats to protest the issue before Meira Kumar adjourned the house till 2pm.
Smt. Sushma Swaraj, the BJP MP and the leader of the opposition demanded that Gita should be declared as the National Book of Indian Nation so that nobody can ban it anyway.  

ISKCON monks demonstrate in front of Russian consulate Kolkata.

KOLKATA : 19/12/2011 : Monks belonging to ISKCON sect today staged a demonstration in front of the Russian consulate here at 22 A Raja Santosh Road , Alipore, Kolkata  decrying any move by a Siberian court to ban Bhagwad Gita across Russia. Some other Organisations like Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha, Arya Veer Dal, Rashtriya Goraksha Manch also participated in the dharna under the sole initiatives of the Devotees of Harkrishna Mahamantra. The demonstration started on 11-30 am and continued till 2-00 pm. A team of ISKCON Monks gave a memorandum to the Russian Consul General here not to ban Gita in Russia in any manner.

Holding placards and posters and chanting ‘Hare Rama, Hare Krishna‘ to the beating of drums and cymbals, nearly 100 monks of International Society of Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) appealed to all MPs to pass a resolution in Parliament condemning the action of a group linked to the Christian Orthodox Church which has moved a Russian court seeking a ban the holy book by describing it as ‘extremist’.
“These initiatives of the Tomsk Prosecutor’s office offend the religious sentiments of all followers of Hinduism and bring disgrace to the country of Russia,” the ISKCON posters said.

“Gita, the holiest Hindu scripture, is facing a legal ban and the prospect of being branded as an extremist literature across Russia,” Srimad Radharaman Dasa, Manager ISKCON temple told the media.
Over 100 copies of Srimad Bhagabad Gita, As It Is have been distributed to the participants, cops on duties and the passers by who were actually overwhelmed with the chanting of Harinam Sankirtanam and divine dance with the Sankirtanam.
Sri Raj Natahany and Sri Krishnakant Tiway, Advocate of Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha condemned the attempt to ban Srimad Bhagabad Gita in Russia even after the destruction of Communism in Russia. Upananda Brahmachari eminent Hindu preacher, thinker and interlocutor was also present in the demonstration and told the press that the lovers and admirers of Gita will only stop this protest until the nefarious attempt to ban Gita is completely nullified. A bigger protest is awaited all over the Globe.
However, the Russian Consul General heard the monks of ISKCON very patiently and assured that he will convey the matter of sentiment and the protest of the Gita loving people in the right and higher authority. Hare Krishna !!

The Reality of Rudrapur Riot.

Rudrapur | 4th October, 2011 :: In the peaceful area of Kumayun terai region of Udham Shing Nagar is now being tormented in worry and anxiety of communal tension, riot, curfew by the handiwork by some fanatics in the name of intolerance of religion of peace. And it so started on 2nd October of Gandhi Jayanti, that day generally denotes the peace and amity.
This prosperous district is endowed with a very fertile land. Agriculture is the mainstay and there are several agriculture related activities and industries located here. Udham Singh Nagar district is also noted for communal harmony and brotherhood. So far district is a melting pot of different cultures, religions and life styles.
In this very location  theAtariya temple of Goddess Atariya is very holy place as per Hindu-Sikh believe. This sacred shrine is situated 2km from the bus stand of Rudrapur. A 10 day fair is held here during the sacred Navratras. Large numbers of devotees visit the shrine on this occasion. This year perhaps some anti Hindu elements nearing a populace of 15% in this district ( Muslims are 10% in Uttarkhand State as a whole) had in mind to put some trouble to cut short the vibrant and auspicious celebration of Navratras this year.
Communal tension flared up on 2nd Oct and extended in day next too in Rudrapur in Udham Singh Nagar district due to violence following alleged desecration of a Qur’an belonging to Muslim community on Sunday. At least, 4 persons were killed and 60  others injured.
Violence between members of two communities took an ugly turn causing death, injury and mayhem. After the clashes, hundreds of persons belonging to the Muslim community reportedly staged armed protest in the city following a tough resistance from the majority.
Two eye witnesses (as claimed) narrated the mayhem in their words.

One Satya wrote in Northern Voice Online (October 3, 2011 at 2:19 pm) : “my friend why r u lying now I AM TELLING U THE REAL INCIDENT I MYSELF HAD WITNESSED . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . yesterday was non violence day. in the morning one muslim found teared pages of quran in front of his door.soon muslim mob gathered in thousands(i dont know how they do it so fast) and marched towards police station to launch complain.but plan changed they start beating the police(they are in thousand) after that start wandering in market and start throwing stones petrol bombs fired the buses and rikshaws. all the time no hindu came against them.i was in market at my uncles shop.we closed our shops. when police came they beat them badly. u can see their photos at DAINIK JAGRAN WEBSITE even muslim child were doing this. now today is curfew imposed all over city. in our area people are saying they just did it to loot the shop one big jewellary shop was looted. this is planned attack. they r always ready for riot.”
Some Kashif Hassan Khan, told  OKHLA TIMES over phone from Gautia: “This was a second incident in a week time. When the police failed to arrest the perpetrators of the crime, some Muslim youths were enraged and gathered outside the police station. The protesters lost their cool and started pelting stones at the station. Even a SDM was beaten up. This turned the police against the Muslims and thus the mayhem begun.”
This OKHLA TIMES reports on October 3, 2011: “A Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) research scholar, who has been victim of the Rudrapur riots, gives a blow by blow account of the communal violence in which some four people have been claimed to have died and scores injured. According to the research scholar, the the violence erupted after the alleged desecration of Quran by some members of another community. The news spread in the Muslim dominated Gautia and other places like wild fire with a mob picketing outside Indra Chauraha Kotwali.”
Actually nobody has seen that perpetrator who had such an intention of  to tear a Qur’an page or packed some piece of pork in a Qur’an page to throw it at the door step of a Muslim house. Rumors have no limit and if this is connected with Islam Khatre Mein (Islam is in Danger).

Those beef eaters had lost that sense that why those peacefully living Hindus will engage themselves to put themselves out from an engrossed festive season of Navaratra. Though absurd enough for the Hindus, this could be happened in the timings of Muslim festival to disturb them. No, now it is evident that the anti Hindu elements designed this plan to
put a trouble and disturbance for spoiling the Hindu Navratri out of a tension of a Communal Riot.
For the Florida Qur’an Burning Case, the Muslim community wanted to make wrath and riot over non-believers. Now that legacy will want to make the situation for a  Muslim repercussion out of a designed game plan to foment the Muslims against the Hindus in India in the very Rudrapur line.
The tension began on early in the morning of 2nd Oct, when a Muslim man spotted a torn pages o Qur’an outside his house in Bhadiapura area of Rudrapur.
Soon, a mob marched towards the police station.
They thrashed sub divisional magistrate VS Budiyal and the few policemen who tried to pacify them. The police had to open fire to control the crowd. Later, the mob clashed with some members of the majority community.
More than 40 shops, four buses and one police vehicle were set ablaze. as per the reports came in first. But actually the Muslims burnt 60 vehicles (motor cycle, auto cabs etc), 6 buses, 24 Hindu Shops after the jammed the Indira Chowk. They also put fire to the Muslim shops also to raise the tension in a high pitch. Three persons were killed by the police firing ( Md. Shaki of JumMa
Colony-Rampur, Abdul Rehman of Kheda, Afjal Ahamed of Nurriya, Pilvit and one  Sri Sher Singh of  Bhadaipura was died after a unsuccessful operation for a deadly  bomb splinter.

The police had no option than firing when the Muslims attacked the police station, police contingent with higher officers and the un-warned local people with deadly weapons and in a very ruthless way.
There is no controversy that the local Hindu resistance and retaliation gave a pungent taste to the Muslims miscreants and the Islamic Organisations who  are very much active to change the demography of Hindu majority areas in every state in India.
The Uttarkhand chief minister Sri Bhuban Chandra Khanduri  is closely monitoring the situation and has asked senior police officials to take stern action against the miscreants, a Chief Minister’s Office spokesman said.
Khanduri has also directed authorities to provide best medical care to the injured, the spokesman added.
On Monday 3rd Oct  afternoon, Khanduri visited the town to take stock of the situation and announced a relief of R1 lakh for each of the families that lost a member.
Announcing a high probe before the media, Khanduri said the report should be submitted to the government within a week. “We will take action against administrative officials as well if their involvement is established,” he said.
“Anti-social elements will not be allowed to disturb the communal harmony in the state,” he added.
In Paharganj, meanwhile, a crowd threw stones at police parties on Monday afternoon. A police team led by circle officer Devendra Pincha arrested eight men and seized a vehicle. All the rioters are from Bahedi in Bareilly.
As it proves that the out-comers also take a pledge a riot over the peace loving majority, it is the right time to take stern action to crush all the riot making people immediately with out seeing any caste or creed or majority – minority complex.
Are minority Muslims are the holy cows in India as such they will not be hurt any way? But  the same Muslims will kill the cows, destroy Hindu peace, desecrate Hindu Temples and Texts, snatched Hindu girls in a trap of Love Jihad, degenerate Indian Ideals, contradicting family planning and single marriage,  disobey Indian civil and criminal codes in the safe guard of Shariyat all in the name of  Islam and Qur’an.
This can’t be. Otherwise Rudrapur may be a bad turn for the peace loving Muslim people also, if they do not start protest over the bad name of Jihad and arrogance in Islam. We condemn the Rudrapur Riot relentlessly.

Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh), Sep.14 (ANI): Sikhs staged protests in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, over the torching of the Guru Granth Sahib by four unidentified men in a village.
Speaking to mediapersons, Sardar Manjeet Bagga, a protestor said that four unidentified men had torched their holy book on Monday, thereby insulting their religious beliefs.
“Near Pilibhit, on (sic.) road, a village falls almost 13 kilometres away where four men knocked down the wall of the Gurudwara, then torched our ‘Guru Granth Sahib’ (the holy book of Sikhs) and after that they insulted it,” said Sardar Manjeet Bagga, a protestor.
The protestors were seen holding swords in their hands and shouting Sikh slogans of ‘Jo Bole So Nihaal’ (whoever utters the phrase, shall be fulfilled) and ‘Sat Sri Akal’ (Eternal is the Great Timeless Lord), venting their ire over the incident.
The protest caused a jam on the Delhi-Lucknow highway, causing inconvenience to the commuters.
The protestors demanded the government to immediately investigate the matter and take strict action against the guilty.
“We demand justice. Those who have insulted Guru Granth Sahib should be hanged; we want justice from the government. We want to know that who has insulted our religion and why he has insulted it, we want to know the reason, we want justice,” said Jasmeet Kaur, another protestor.
Guru Granth Sahib is the religious text of Sikhism, a collection of ‘shabad’ or ‘baani’ (hymns), which contains religious teachings and deemed as the Sikh community’s spiritual guide. (Source : ANI)
HE Media Source reports from Aligarh : After the Florida Koran burning, this Indian sub-continent saw many cases of burning of Hindu Scripture – Gita and Christian Scripture – Bible, now Sikh Scripture – Guru Granth Sahib is perhaps under the wrath of Allah and the fire of Islam. 
In India the Muslim fundamentalists always try to spread the communal tension hitting  over the religious processions of Hindu-Sikh-Jains and other non Muslim sects along with their agenda to desecrate holy books like Vedas, Gita and Guru Granth Sahib and Hindu-Sikh worship places (Temples-Gurdwara etc.) including robbing and stealing from it.
Traditionally, the Mughals and the perpetrators in Islam destroyed many Hindu-Sikh shrines, libraries, Hindu-Sikh habitations and killed many Sikh Gurus and Hindu Saints  in a very brutal way of persecution.
Hindu Existence appeals to all concerned to keep peace and harmony and to urge a greater Hindu-Sikh Unity to fight against all the anti-Dharma, anti-Sangat and anti-Indian forces very much active in India to destroy the Hindu-Sikh strength and unity for ever.
