You will need to head out of the city to experience some wine trips and if you only have a short break to visit a single wine town, consider the area on St Emilion. It is situated just 40 minutes west of Bordeaux, where you will have many decent wines to sample. Other fine chateaus are Mѐdoc, Arcachon, and Graves.
