Jayanti greetings of Swami Ramji Maharaj, the renowned Trika charya and scholar saint of Kashmir.

Today is the Jayanti Diwas of the Parmisht Guru Trikacharya Swami Ramji Mahraj,the famous n greatest Scholar Saint n Shaiva philosopher of kashmir. He was born on 1854 at Habbkadal, Srinagar to Pt Sukhdev n his spiritual Guru n Shiva philosophy teacher was Swami Manhkak Mongha,who was also a renowned Shaivacharya of his time.Swami Ramji Mahraj had a vast multitude of admirers n devotees, who would throng his Ashram for solace,bliss n spiritual retreat from all corners of Kashmir. The then ruler of J&K State Maharaja Partap Singh was also one of his ardent devotee n would come to his Ashram to pay obesiance to Swamiji Mahraj. Swami Ramji Mahraj had also deputed his pradhan disciple Swami Mahtabkak to teach shaivite scriptures to Swami Laxman joo , who is globally known n recognised as a Saint n Shaiva Philosopher. Swamiji Ramji Mahraj attained Nirvana n Mahasamadhi to be one with the Supreme Reality on Magh Shukla Paksh Chaturdashi in 1915 at his established Swami Ram Shaiv Trika Ashram, Fateh Kadal, Srinagar. Mahamaeshacharya Swami Ramji is credited for having reintroduced Shaivism in Kashmir at a time when it was pushed to the periphery n marginalized due to the onslaught of the traumatic and unstable times.In a way it can be aptly said that Paramsidha Swami Ramji Maharaj gave a new birth to Kashmir Shaivism. The great Shaivite philosopher,scholar saint n preacher of Kashmir Shaivism had inherited the Shaivite Trika tradition in a direct line of the Spiritual succession of the famous Guru Shishya parampara.Due to his extensive Spiritual n learned disquisitions,Swami Ramji Maharaj had incredible mastery over all the philosophical n esoteric aspects of Kashmir Shaiv Darshan.Swami Ramji Maharaj has rendered voluminous services in the revival of Kashmir Shaivism by propagating n teaching the Shaivite philosophy n Shaivite scriptures to his devotees.The Shaivite Ashram established by Swami Ramji Maharaj himself at Fatehkadal Srinagar in May 1884 is the oldest celebrated Shaiva philosophy teaching centre of Kashmir in contemporary times.His disciples Swami Mahtabkak,Swami Gash KoulJallali,Swami Govind Koul Jallali , Swami Vidayadhar ji n Swami Tarachand ji who, later on became renowned Saints n helped immensely in the spread of Kashmir Shaivism.
