The temple is said to be the 1st Darshan for Vishnu Devi darshan yatra. The temple is situated between Jammu n Katra, 15 KM from Jammu, at Nagrota.



There is 1 pindi darshan and an ancient Shiv temple also. This temple is said to be built by Pandvas during their exile.
