A well in the temple complex of Mata Rupa Bhawani at village Vaskura.
One day a blind man came and importunately prayed to Mata Rupa Bhawani
to grant him light. "Desirous if you are of light, dig herre a well.
Light in your eyes will awaken from slumber when the water will begin to
appear in the well" said Maa. The blind man, day and night, began to
dig the well. He went on sinking the well. And as the first layer of
water began to make appearance in the sunk well, light returned to the
blind man. He was mad with joy when he beheld glorious Mata Rupa Bhawani
before him. He fell upon her feet and remained upon her attendance ever
afterwards.
