Dharmshalla at Haridwar

Kashmiri Pandit community as you already know has its own Dharmshalla at Haridwar (uttrakhand) located at upper Haridwar road, near Hotel Gagandeep and hundred yards ahead of Mansa Devi ticket Garah. This property was originally purchased in 1927 by our forefathers but later encroached by locals. It was only due to persistent efforts of the association and few KPs that we could legally get this prime property back by paying Rs.13 lacs compensation to the encroachers few years back. It is now fully under KPWS Haridwar and having 27 rooms which are fitted with all ammenities like bed beddings fans crockery utensils cooking gas kitchen etc. These facilities are available at nominal rates for all KPs.
